A fan brush gives a much more precise line, which you'd then blend out with a powder brush or a kabuki. You can either use a fan brush or a powder brush for contouring. Not quite as nice as their high end counterparts, but it shaves $18 off the price, at only $8. Glamazon Bronze is warmed toned and Doll Face is cool toned. Hard Candy (sold at Walmart) also has pretty good dupes for the benefit highlighters. Studio Baked Blush in Pinktastic (It only has fleks of pink, despite its name.) can be used as a highlighter and its only $3. So if you can afford it, go for this so I can live vicariously through you! If you're looking for a much more affordable option, the e.l.f. $38! I have, however swatched it many, many times at Sephora and it is probably one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. I want this product desperately, but have yet to test it, due to the price tag. Another high end option that is absolutely beautiful is Nars Albatross. High Beam is very cool toned, while Sun Beam is very warm. Great, albeit pricey, options are High Beam and Sun Beam from Benefit. Other options are the Sleek Contour Kit ($9.99) and the much raved about Nars Laguna ($38!) It can get a little messy, since its a loose powder but it really is amazing. A great high end bronzer is the Bare Minerals Faux Tan. ![]() It's not too dark, or too orange, and it's only $4.99. ![]() You're creating shadows, after all, so you don't want to much shimmer reflecting light.Ī good drugstore option is the Rimmel Natraul Bronzer. You'll need a bronzer, preferably a matte one. Stays on well.Whether you're new to countouring and highlighting, or you just want some new product recommendations, sometimes we could all just use a tidy list, and I am here to give you that. I've tried other, popular brands and I always come back to Lashtopia.Good but expensive4Nice mascara but clumps occasionally. Really creates the longest lashes for me. My lashes don't fall out like they do after using other (more expensive) brands and actually make my lashes feel healthier!Best mascara ever5My favorite mascara for years! It's so moist and black. It doesn't clump, flake, or irritate my eyes. Volume is easily buildable with this brush and formula. Great coverage and lengthening plus completely safe for sensitive eyes like mine. This is my #1 mascara and I've tried a ton!5It makes my lashes look full and plush. I haven't had an eye infection since I started using it. A friend gave me Lashtopia for Christmas a couple years ago. I use it for everyday makeup but when I'm going out, not my first pickBest Ever5I used to have lots of eye infections and even needed eye surgery once for an infection that wouldn't go away. It gives natural length to my lashes, and just helps them look longer in general. ![]() Bottom line, don't waste your money on this mascara! It really is a bad productGives length not volume3This is my mascara for subtle eye looks. I am afraid I will be purchasing mascara elsewhere from now on, which is even more frustrating because I loved the convenience of getting everything I needed on auto delivery. The fact that so many of my favorite products, like flawless definition mascara in espresso, keep getting discontinued is beyond frustrating! What is even worse is there are no viable alternatives that can replace the quality. I love bare minerals and use many of the products religiously. My new favorite mascara from Bare Minerals.Bring back flawless definition mascara!!!!!I got this in a holiday kit and it is the worst! It's clumpy and goopy and takes forever to dry. Next » Love this mascara! This mascara is so black, and leaves your lashes soft but with great length and fullness.
